For Best Quality Outcome - Prep Your Image

Simple Image Preparation can improve the quality of your final keepsake

1) Choose the best image for your art.

2) Wipe off any fingerprints with a soft cloth

3) Scan only your selected image using your home scanner, a phone scanning app, or your local office store (preferred).

If you have a digital version of your images, then simply use a cropping tool and take a screenshot of the digital image. (Windows has a free version called the "Snipping Tool")

4) Crop the image to the black edges if not already. (Don't crop out any of the black edges - only crop anything showing beyond the black edge.

It is not recommended to take a picture of your ultrasound image

If you choose to do this method understand that the quality may be degraded.

If you take a picture of your ultrasound image - do the following.

1) Wipe off any dust and fingerprints with a soft cloth as the camera with show these flaws.

2) Use natural light (Do not use a flash)

3) Remove any shadows over the image

4) Take a picture straight on with the ultrasound image. Do not take the image at any angle.

5) Crop the image to the black edges if not already. (Don't crop out the black edges - only anything showing beyond the black edge.
